The latest design for the back of card...

Finally decided on the design for the back of my new business cards! It needed to say everything and I think I've fitted it all on! I didn't include my new website address, as it's a long way off being finished yet.

I love Zazzle!

I discovered Zazzle a while back and last night I thought I'd log in again and have a look at the business card designs.  They have literally tons of them! I searched for 'vintage', as that style would complement my style.  And this is what I found! I've added my details at no cost and it's just sitting there waiting for me to purchase it.  I just need to clarify the details before I go ahead though...

Making slow progress with the dresser...

I know it's not much but I'm so busy with other things..such as pricing up my old stock for the move to GB Antiques in Lancaster...I didn't know I had so much stuff! Also, my mum is looking for a new house, so lots of meetings at number 4...number 29...number 157...

Anyway...here are the most up-to-date photo's of my 'duck-egg blue dresser'....the last one of the top is there because I had to move it from it's place to paint the sides...

I did a bit more on my dream room today...

Well, it's been a while since I did anything towards achieving my 'dream room', so today I set about painting a dresser duck-egg blue. The dresser will be used to house my growing sewing..Oh that rhymed...notion collection.  Duck-egg blue is such a pretty colour and it will compliment the pink scheme I have in
mind...

I still need to do the base and the glass doors.  Normally I use a full-satinwood paint that takes ages to dry, but I've changed the paint I use to one with very low VOCs.  It's called Home of Colour by Homebase and I find it very good.  It's dry within 2 hours and hardly smells, and what's also really great is that you can wash your brushes under the tap!
