Well that didn't last long!

About a year ago I heard about a Grade 2 listed house in Morecambe, being run by a group of artists..and as I used to be an artist myself, (in my youth), I was intrigued to find out more...I emailed the man in charge and it was love at first sight..no, not with the man in charge but with this lovely old house full of canvases, oil paints, colours and well, rubbish..it was a tip really..but a lovely colourful one where I decided I could create amazing things - until the sun came up if I wanted to!

But where was I going to find the time from?? I was renovating a house and studying for a degree and running an online business and...you get the picture..what to do, what to do?? This isn't my house, by the way..wish it was...no, I'm renovating another house at the other end of town...

Which Style??

I'm loving the new Romantic Prairie Style of Fifi O'Neill's new book..I've always loved the white, clean and wholesome look of simple living..I'm going to look into this further though, as my house is not a cottage but a rambling town house..but it does look lovely..soooo...

I'm liking the new look back!

The builders have now finished the rendering and windows..I love it! Now for the inside of the house!

Royal Wedding Today!

I enjoyed the Royal Wedding..loved the dress the most! It was very Grace Kelly, with the lace sleeves..

We have a long Bank Holiday weekend coming up and the weather's nice, so should get some decorating done!

My new windows are in!

At last all my windows are in and the back of the house has been newly rendered and painted white! I must say, the house looks tons better than it did before!

Ahh..now I remember why..

Sometimes when I'm knee deep in paint stripper, I wonder why I bought a house 100 miles from everyone I know..and then I go for a walk along the prom and it all comes back to me...

I love the new windows!

What a difference a day makes..24 little hours...:)

The next job is to replaster the back of the house and paint it white..can't wait!
