I'm considering painting my pale duck-egg blue Windsor chairs black. Before you make the assumption that I've gone mad!...please note that black chairs go wonderfully well with the Prairie style homestead look. The use of black sets the prairie look apart from the shabby chic look which is mainly white and very pale ice-cream colours.
